Transaero Airlines announces its operating results for the first ten months of 2010 which indicate steady growth of the carrier’s business during the period.
For the period from January to October 2010:
· Passenger turnover reached 21.54 billion RPK (40.2% increase in comparison with the first 10 months of 2009)
· The total number of passengers carried amounted to 5,641,973 (32.2% increase in comparison with the same period last year)
· Transaero transported a total amount of 31,936 tons of cargo (40.1% increase in comparison with the first 10 months of 2009)
· Ton-kilometers totaled 2,125,042.94 TKM (40.3% increase in comparison with the same period last year).
In January – October 2010 Transaero passenger turnover grew both on domestic (by 25.2%) and on international routes (by 34%).
