Turboprop lessor Elix Aviation Capital announces the acquisition of 25 turboprop aircraft from Nordic Aviation Capital

Elix Aviation Capital, a turboprop leasing specialist based in Dublin, Ireland, is pleased to announce the acquisition of 22 + 3 (options) turboprop aircraft, from fellow lessor Nordic Aviation Capital in a transaction valued over US$100 million. The aircraft are a mix of ATR 42-320/500s and DHC-8-100/300s, leased to a number of leading regional airlines around the world.

Elix Aviation Capital was set up in September 2013 by a team with deep regional aviation expertise, and backed by funds managed by Oaktree Capital Management, a premier global alternative investment firm with an established track record of aircraft leasing investments.

Nordic Aviation Capital is a global aircraft leasing company dedicated to the worldwide sale, purchasing and financing of commercial jet and turboprop aircraft. NAC is the largest turboprop lessor in the world.
