Turkish Airlines adds Libreville, Gabon 
to its Africa network

Istanbul, Turkey; February 11, 2013: Turkish Airlines (THY), the national carrier of Turkey and Europe’s best airline, has added Libreville in Gabon as its 219th destination, connecting now to 98 countries, the largest country-network for any airline in the world.

Libreville is THY’s 34th destination in Africa, making the airline the No 1 in Africa with the largest network across various cities in the Continent. The airline plans to add several new cities in Africa to its network in the coming months.

THY will operate two-way flights from Istanbul via Douala to Libreville thrice weekly. The onward flights from Istanbul (TK 591) are scheduled at 17.45 PM LMT on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. The flights reach Douala at 23.55 PM with onward journey to Libreville at 00.55 AM and scheduled to arrive in the Gabonese city at 11.30 AM.

The flights are direct from Libreville to Istanbul (TK 591) depart every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 3.10 AM LMT to reach the Turkish capital at 11.30 AM.
