Turkish Airlines increases its international frequencies...

In line with its ongoing expansion, Turkish Airlines will increase its frequencies to a number of international destinations: Donetsk, Kiev, Odessa, Washington DC and Los Angeles.

The current twice-weekly schedule to Donetsk (Ukraine) will be doubled to four, operating on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays as from September 9, 2011.

On September 12 the schedules to both Kiev and Odessa will also be increased, with 12 weekly services to Kiev and 11 each week to Odessa, increasing connections to and from these cities.

To the United States, flights to both Washington, DC and Los Angeles will each gain an additional frequency. As from August 30, Los Angeles will add a Wednesday flight resulting in 5 weekly services. As from the 29th of August, Washington, DC will grow from 5 to 6 weekly, operating daily except Saturday.

Flights between Istanbul and Lviv, suspended due to runway maintenance, will be resumed on August 25th and operate three times weekly, on Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays.
