Turkish Airlines launches flights to Rotterdam

With existing service to the capital, Amsterdam, Turkish Airlines has added a 2nd destination in the Netherlands, Rotterdam. Round trip flights between Istanbul and Rotterdam will be operated 4 times per week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Introductory round trip fares are available between Istanbul and Rotterdam starting at 99 Euros (including taxes and fees). Additionally, for the first 6 months of operation to our new destinations, there is a special offer for our MilesSmiles members, with a 25% reduction in the miles needed to redeem either award tickets or upgrades.

The second largest city in the Netherlands, Rotterdam is a world famous port that has been a center of trade and exploration for centuries. Both an economic and cultural center, the city has a cosmopolitan atmosphere and hosts a number of annual festivals and events, making it one of Europe’s major entertainment centers.

The “Maritiem Museum of Rotterdam” specializes in exhibits that feature the city’s links with the sea while the “Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen” collection includes works that span the history of art, including works by international artists such as Bosch, Rembrandt, Van Gogh, Dalí, Christo.

Rotterdam is also renowned as a place with many architectural landmarks including the Kubuswoningen (Cube Houses) which were cited as masterpieces of contemporary architecture when constructed in the 1980s.
