UNITED REPORTS SEPTEMBER 2012 OPERATIONAL PERFORMANCE
CHICAGO, Oct. 8, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — United Continental Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: UAL) today reported September 2012 combined operational results for its airline units.
UAL’s consolidated traffic (revenue passenger miles) in September 2012 decreased 2.1 percent and consolidated capacity (available seat miles) decreased 1.3 percent versus September 2011. UAL’s consolidated load factor in September 2012 decreased 0.7 points compared to September 2011.
UAL’s September 2012 consolidated passenger revenue per available seat mile (“PRASM”) decreased an estimated 2.5 to 3.5 percent compared to September 2011.
