UTair Launches charter Operations to China

On September 21, 2013, UTair Aviation launched a charter flight program linking Surgut and Tyumen to Hainan Island resorts in China.

Flights on the route Surgut – Sanya and Tyumen – Sanya are operated weekly on Saturdays on long-haul wide-body Boeing 767-200 aircrafts able to accommodate 170 passengers – 145 and 25 seats in economy and business class respectively.

The wide Boeing 767-200 passenger cabin of4.7 m and increased legroom offer passengers additional comfort during the flight. Travel time to Sanya from Surgut is 7 hours and 45 minutes and from Tyumen – 7 hours and 25 minutes. The customer of the new UTair charter flight program is travel operator Southern Cross. In 2014, UTair and Southern Cross are planning to expand cooperation and enhance travel network on this route.
