UTair Launches Its First Far East Route

UTair Aviation announces the launch of its new regular route between Moscow and the city of Pevek in the Chukotsky region.

Flights to Russia’s northernmost city will be performed with comfortable Boeing 767-200 aircraft from Vnukovo Airport on Sundays at 20:00 and from Pevek on Mondays at 14:35 (all times are local)*. The flight duration is 7 hours and 35 minutes.

UTair-Passenger Airlines President Oleg Semenov announced that the Moscow-Pevek route was the airline’s first regular route to the Russian Far East. “Thanks to convenient connecting flights at Vnukovo Airport, the new route will connect the Chukotsky region not only with Moscow, but also with other cities of European Russia, the Ural and Siberian regions,” said Oleg Semenov. “Now residents of the Russian Far East are able to travel among the 110 destinations in the UTair network, including 50 unique destinations. This new route will give an additional boost to the development of business and cultural relationships with the Chukotsky region.”
