Boca Raton, FL, March 26, 2015 — VAS Aero Services, a global leader in aviation logistics and aftermarket services, reported that Brian Postel has been named Vice President of Business Development. The announcement comes as part of VAS’s sales force expansion to enhance customer service and continue revenue growth in key sectors, according to Tommy Hughes, Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer for the company.
With more than 30 years of experience in aircraft appraisal, purchasing, sales and leasing, Postel has a long and strong track record in domestic and international negotiations with airlines, financial institutions, investment partners and hedge fund associates.
He joined VAS after nearly 15 years with Universal Asset Management, most recently serving as Executive Vice President with responsibility for worldwide aircraft, engine and major packaged sales and leasing, as well as asset acquisition. Prior to that he was Vice President of Technical Sales for Avatar Alliance, preceded by various sales and marketing positions with several aviation aftermarket services companies.
In his new role with VAS Postel will be responsible for working with leasing companies to develop new sources of parts and material for VAS’s extensive serviceable parts inventory and global marketing organization.
