VEB-Leasing gives UTair 24 SSJ100 on terms of financial leasing

17 August 2011, Zhukovsky – Financial leasing agreement was signed at International Aviation and Space Salon “MAKS 2011” in Zhukovsky by JSC “VEB-Leasing”, subsidiary of State Corporation Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs (Vnesheconombank), UTair airline and JSC “Sukhoi Civil Aircraft”.

The agreement was signed by Vladimir Dmitriev, Chairman of Vnesheconombank (by attorney), on the part of JSC “VEB-Leasing”, by Andrey Martirosov, UTair CEO, and by Mikhail Pogosyan, JSC “UAC” President, on the part of JSC “SCA” (by attorney). The ceremony was attended by Vladimir Putin, the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation.

According to the terms of the agreement JSC “VEB-Leasing” purchases 24 SSJ100 aircraft from JSC “SCA” and transfers them to UTair airline under conditions of long-term financial leasing.

Transaction totals 760.8 million USD (list price).

This will contribute to UTair fleet renewal, regional transportation development, and improve the quality level of transportation services.
