VietJetAir Adds Brand New Aircraft to the Fleet

VietJetAir – HCMC, January 20th, 2014) – In order to meet the highly increasing demand during festive season (Vietnamese Tet Festival) VietJetAir receives one more aircraft adding to the current fleet of 11 aircrafts.

The brand new aircraft is among Airbus family of A320-200. The addition helps VietJetAir providing more than 10,000 seats per week to meet high demand and ensures the stable flight schedule.

“By adding more aircraft to the fleet, VietJetAir will better serve its customers. Customers now have more options to schedule for returning homes or traveling with their beloved people during the holiday. The increase in the fleet is also among our attempts to expand our operations this year”. Said Mr. Desmond Lin – VietJetAir’s Business Development Director.

VietJetAir is currently operating on 16 domestic and international routes. In the next few months VietJetAir continues launching new routes nationally and internationally connecting the tourist and business hubs in Asia such as South Korea, Japan, Taiwan and Singapore. This expansion of the airlines will offer more options in terms of routes, schedule and flights for passengers in the country and in the regions.
