Lufthansa Systems today announced that Russia’s VIM Airlines recently signed a five-year contract for the use of its ProfitLine/Yield Rembrandt revenue management solution. The IT system caters to the needs of regional and start-up carriers, enabling these airlines to grow dynamically, improve their capacity utilization and generate higher revenues.
“Since we plan to grow significantly in the near future, we need a powerful revenue management system. ProfitLine/Yield Rembrandt offers all the functionalities we require for a successful growth,” says Alexei Mamin, Deputy Commercial Director at VIM Airlines.
ProfitLine/Yield Rembrandt is a leading revenue management solution for the airline industry. The solution enables airlines to increase their profitability and market share even if they are already using a revenue management system. By migrating to ProfitLine/Yield Rembrandt, a typical medium-size airline can boost its revenues by up to USD 6 million per year. The system covers all core processes of revenue management – from data loading and demand forecasting to optimizing availabilities – and also includes a comprehensive reporting tool.
“We are pleased that another well-known Russian carrier like VIM Airlines has opted for a solution from Lufthansa Systems. Our understanding of the market and the requirements of Russian airlines is an excellent basis for a successful cooperation,” said Marco Cesa, Senior Vice President Sales EMEA at Lufthansa Systems.
VIM Airlines is a private Russian carrier based in Moscow. The airline serves over 25 destinations in Russia and abroad with its modern fleet of 11 Boeing 757 aircraft.
