SAN FRANCISCO, Dec. 13, 2012 — /PRNewswire/ — Virgin America, the California-based airline that is reinventing flying, today announces the appointment of Kevin Ger as the Company’s new Vice President of Revenue Management. Ger will play a leading role in steering Virgin America’s revenue and pricing strategy. An airline industry veteran with more than twenty years of experience, Ger has served in revenue management and pricing strategy leadership roles for Jetstar Airways, Eos Airlines and Delta Air Lines.

Ger’s start date at San Francisco-based Virgin America is January 14, 2013.
Ger comes to Virgin America from Jetstar Airways in Melbourne, Australia, where for four years he was Vice President of Pricing and Revenue Management. At Jetstar, Ger had responsibility for pricing, revenue management and ancillary revenue for domestic and international networks in 16 countries during a period of rapid capacity growth at the carrier.
Prior to joining Jetstar, Ger was Vice President of Revenue Management and Pricing for Eos Airlines. Before his time at Eos, Ger was a consultant for Sabre Consulting and GVision Consulting, and served in management roles at Delta Air Lines and American Airlines.
Ger holds a Bachelor of Science degree in aerospace engineering from University of Colorado and an MBA from New York University.
