Virgin Australia today announced that it would commence flying its two-class wide-body Airbus A330 aircraft from Brisbane to Perth for the first time, with tickets going on sale tomorrow.
From 15 May 2013, two out of three weekday return services between Brisbane and Perth will be operated by our award-winning A330 “Coast to Coast” service.

“We have listened to our guests and we understand that spacious aircraft, comfortable seating, and inclusive catering and entertainment make a real difference on these longer journeys.”
“Our wide-body Airbus A330 aircraft feature luxury leather seating in Business and Economy Class, with fully inclusive hot meals, beverages and in-flight entertainment included on all “Coast to Coast” flights.

Virgin Australia offers competitive airfares on the Brisbane-Perth route with fares starting from as little as $249 one-way.
The daily Airbus A330 flights to Perth on weekdays will depart Brisbane at 8:45am and 8:15pm, arriving Perth at 12:25pm and 11:55pm respectively. The return A330 services from Perth depart at 12:30pm and 10:45pm, arriving in Brisbane at 6:50pm and 5:05am (+1 day) local time.
A third weekday return service, operated by a Boeing 737 aircraft, will depart Brisbane at 5:30pm and Perth at 7:35am arriving at 9:25pm and 1:55pm respectively.
The weekend A330 departure is on Sunday departing Brisbane at 8.15pm and Perth 10:45pm arriving 11:55pm and 5:05am (+1 day) respectively. These are complemented on Saturdays and Sundays by the existing Boeing 737 schedule unless stated otherwise.
