Vueling increases the number of passengers carried in January by 11%

Barcelona, 12th February 2013. – Vueling Airlines carried 804,938 passengers in January 2013. This represents a 10.6% increase compared to January 2012. The company reached a load factor of 71.7%.

Growth in 2013

In 2013 Vueling will continue its consolidation and growth based on international expansion. The airline will expand its route network to embrace 100 destinations from Barcelona El Prat Airport in 2013. The new routes will come into effect from the summer schedule, commencing March 2013. A new service to Gatwick, London’s second biggest hub airport, will be joined by Frankfurt, and Dusseldorf. There will also be significant increases in the frequency of flights from Barcelona together with new cities in Morocco, Germany, France, Italy and Scandinavia.
