Wataniya Airways Announces Additional Flights to Cairo

Kuwait –25 January 2011: Wataniya Airways, Kuwait’s best airline, today announced 11 extra flights on its Cairo route to accommodate increased demand at the start of schools spring holidays. Wataniya Airways will fly an additional service from 26th of January to the 12th of February 2011.

On 26th, 27th, and 29th of January, and 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 12th of February, the additional service, flight KW 5005, will depart Sheikh Saad Terminal at 3:30 pm and arrive in Cairo International Airport at 5:25 pm local time.
On January 28, the time for this additional service will change. Instead, flight KW 5001 will depart Sheikh Saad Terminal at 1:00 pm, arriving at Cairo International Airport at 3:00 pm local time.

John Morgan, Wataniya Airways’ Chief Commercial Officer said: “The increase in our flight schedule comes as we cope with the increasing demand for our Cairo route. Our current scheduled flights have witnessed high load factors reaching 98% and in response to the increasing demand we are offering those new extra flights. Our Cairo route has been one of the most popular and successful in our network and these additional flights are there to serve our guests, especially families who are looking forward to spending the spring holidays together.”

In addition to the new flights, Wataniya Airways operates a regular schedule to Egypt, with two daily flights to Cairo and three weekly flights to Sharm El Sheikh with flight schedules aimed at fulfilling the requirements of guests travelling to Egypt for both business and leisure purposes.
