WestJet is the 240th airline to sign IET agreement with Hahn Air

Dreieich, 27 April 2011 (mc). Hahn Air has now activated interline e-ticketing (IET) with WestJet Airlines Ltd. Therewith, flights of 240 partner carriers can be issued on insolvency-insured Hahn Air e-tickets (HR-169).

Hahn Air has extended its e-ticketing platform with WestJet, Canada’s second-largest carrier. As one of the most successful airlines in North America, WestJet provides scheduled service to 71 destinations in Canada, the United States, Mexico and the Caribbean. With its main campus located in Calgary, Alberta, WestJet currently operates more than 420 flights, carrying an average of 45,000 guests each day.

In 2011 alone, eleven carriers have already been implemented into Hahn Air’s e-ticketing platform. With 240 partner airlines, Hahn Air is the first and only IATA member airline offering the most comprehensive portfolio of airlines for up to 85,000 IATA and IATAN travel agents in 180 markets including BSP/ARC in the U.S. and non-BSP countries.
