WORLD AIRWAYS TO OPERATE BOEING 747-400 FREIGHTER FOR ASIANA AIRLINES

PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. (Aug. 30, 2011) – World Airways, a subsidiary of Global Aviation Holdings Inc., has reached an agreement with Asiana Airlines to operate one Boeing 747-400 freighter on a full-time basis beginning in September 2011. World will provide capacity for Asiana’s cargo network, connecting its hub at Incheon, South Korea, with West Coast markets in the United States.

“World Airways welcomes the opportunity to fly for Asiana and build on the close cooperation we have shared for more than 10 years,” said Brian Bauer, Chief Commercial Officer. “Our Boeing 747-400 freighter fleet is well suited to support Asiana’s impressive cargo network growth.”

Asiana Airlines is a South Korea-based international airline offering passenger and cargo operations to more than 20 countries. Its fleet of wide-body freighters operates around the world.

World Airways, founded in 1948 and based in Peachtree City, Georgia, specializes in providing ACMI solutions using B747-400 and MD-11 freighter and passenger aircraft.
