Paris, Amstelveen, 15 April 2013 – Yakutia Airlines of Russia has signed a long-term contract with specialized AFI KLM E&M subsidiary EPCOR, to maintain the APUs (Auxiliary Power Unit) equipping the carrier’s fleet of Boeing 737s. The contract covers GTCP 131-9B type APUs fitted to seven of the airline’s fleet of Boeing 737NG aircraft: four 737-700s, and three 737-800s. The services will be provided by EPCOR at its Schiphol-Rijk facility.
A noted market presence
According to Romain Helmer, EPCOR’s Managing Director, “This contract confirms EPCOR’s presence on the Russian market. It also shows potential clients that EPCOR is the partner of choice. Over the past two years, we have signed five contracts in the region. The one now inked with Yakutia Airlines is the sixth.”
